Resurrection Too

You speak the truth,

You make the case

That what will be we all can face

When fear and ignorance we might erase

In the Spirit we seek from above.

The troubles and the suffering that we engage

As we saunter our life and our death on this stage

Are dependent on the goodness and the virtues we wage,

Our religion, our faith, hope and love.

In order to move through the darkness

And to come out on the other side

We must know the principle that surpasses the solitude

And joins Life when the lesser has died.

Then the Resurrection is a matter of the Spirit

That finds Being without substance or ties

And is steeped in the glory and the wonder of each moment

And the secret held within its surprise.
